«Student of the Year» is the main Competition of our University.
If you are a second-year student or older, you can compete for the title «The best student of BMSTU» in a lot of nominations: you can become «The Researcher of the year», «The best Engineer» or «The best Public figure of the year», and, of course, also you can become «The Sportsman of the year» and «The most Creative student of the year». Moreover, everyone has a chance to win the main nomination and become «The Student of the Year» of BMSTU!

The competition consists of two parts. The first one is a distance one, where the portfolio of participants is reviewed by the expert commission of the competition. The second one is held offline, where all the finalists appear before the commission. Based on the results of the face-to-face stage, the commission chooses laureates in each category and the main winner - the person, who becomes «The Student of the Year».

Every student has an opportunity to get not only general recognition and valuable gifts, but also the main prize - a scholarship of 35.000 rubles monthly throughout the year!
